Alpha Medical is seeking a product manager who has a passion for patient advocacy and innovating the way people access healthcare today.
Customers are seeking a simpler, faster way to access healthcare. As the owner of product management for our fast-growing team, you will manage the entire lifecycle of our patient-facing consumer web products. You will drive the product roadmap of every patient interaction on our site, from healthcare educational material to patient messaging with our clinical team.
In this role, you will get direct exposure to the healthcare industry, from the legal and regulatory nuances of care delivery, to the rapidly innovating telemedicine technologies, all while ensuring exceptional clinical care to our patients. You’ll also be exposed to the delights in the challenges of building and leading a healthcare team operating at the intersection between telemedicine and traditional healthcare models.

Responsibilities

    • Research and understand the needs of patients
    • Drive product requirements definition, product planning and product design (including writing PRDs) of new features and enhancements
    • Develop a comprehensive product roadmap to deliver on business goals
    • Collaborate with engineering, design and growth to drive the product roadmap for our consumer growth strategy
    • Lead analyses of the competitive environment, patients and product metrics to determine the right set of features to optimize patient experience
    • Collaborate with the engineering and design teams to manage timelines and frequent product iterations
    • Use data-driven analysis to identify key improvements and experiments to optimize funnels across the site

Background Requirements

    • Education: A bachelor’s degree in a technology-related field.
    • Applicable experience: A minimum of 2+ years of experience in product management at a consumer internet company.
    • Technical skills: Strong analytical skills; you are able to define and analyze metrics that inform the success of products.
