Description
We are looking for a fertility Patient Care Advocate to join the Member Services team here at Progyny. A Progyny Patient Care Advocate should be a proactive person, with excellent communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude. You should be driven to deliver results and can establish rapport, earn trust, and effectively collaborate with others in a fast-paced business environment. The patient is at the center of everything we do – you are the front line!
What you’ll be doing…
- Own the Progyny member relationship for specific clients by providing ongoing concierge service for your members Services as a liaison between members and clinics
- Effectively educate eligible members on available and covered services
- Provide information on fertility treatment and centers
- Maintain member satisfaction by answering member’s questions via call or email
- Assist with scheduling appointments and obtaining authorizations
- Provide information on deductibles, co-insurances, and maximum out of pocket amounts.
About you…
- Prior clinical fertility experience or knowledge of the fertility industry and patient procedures required
- Prior insurance experience required
- Nursing Background, preferred
- Genetic Counseling, preferred
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate accurately and concisely
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate good judgment
- ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively in a fast paced, high-volume environment
- Action oriented and motivated by results
- Demonstrated ability to make and implement tough decisions
