Our modern maternity centers combine the best of obstetrics and midwifery care to deliver a more evidence-based and personalized pregnancy experience. From our patient-centered medical team, welcoming clinic, and remote care platform, we are setting a new standard for pregnancy care that unifies modern medicine and human intuition. Our first clinic opened in Brooklyn in 2021. We’ve since opened a second clinic in downtown Manhattan with plans for more Oula clinics to come.

We are looking for a Business Development & Partnerships Manager to join our holistic, tech-enabled maternity practice. We’re searching for an individual who is passionate about transforming maternity care and is excited to join a dynamic and innovative team. The Business Development & Partnerships Manager will be responsible for the growth and success of our partnerships. This role will involve strategy, business development, and nurturing customer success to ensure seamless partnerships and exceptional experiences for our clients.

This is a full time position with option to be either hybrid in New York City or remote. The role reports into the Senior Director of Business Development. This is a benefits-eligible position and the base salary range is $110,000-$130,000 as part of a competitive compensation package.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development:

– Monitor external women’s health/maternity market and competitive landscape to inform Oula strategy, business development efforts and partnerships

– Support and often lead the creation of business development materials, partnership business plans and financial models

– Partner with executive and other cross-functional leadership to ensure alignment on business opportunities and internal support required for their success

– Work with business development team to manage and continuously improve business development process, infrastructure, and organization (e.g., knowledge management, CRM, weekly BD meetings)

Customer Success and Partnership Management:

– Help onboard new health systems, setting up and documenting key points of contact, key policies and processes, and systems and tools to manage the partnership (e.g., key metrics, performance dashboards, required stakeholder meetings)

– Partner with business development team and cross-functional leadership to understand and manage overall partnership performance, providing regular reports and recommendations for improvement and escalating issues as needed

– Develop strong, productive relationships with key internal and external stakeholders

About You:

– Bachelor’s degree; MBA preferred

– 5-7+ years experience in some combination of strategy, business development, consulting, and/or start up work, particularly within the healthcare industry

– Experience working on business plans and creating financial models

-Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate across functional areas (e.g., finance, operations, marketing, clinical, product)

– Excellent project management, presentation, and communication skills

– Analytical mindset and ability to use data to track performance and drive decisions.

– Familiarity with maternity care, healthcare systems, or related fields is a plus
