AI automation company EliseAI has raised $250 million in Series E funding led by Andreessen Horowitz to expand its healthcare and housing automation platform. The round includes participation from Bessemer Venture Partners, Sapphire Ventures, and Navitas Capital as the company scales its enterprise AI solutions.

EliseAI’s healthcare automation platform addresses administrative inefficiencies that cost the U.S. healthcare system over $600 billion annually. The technology handles complex workflows including scheduling, prior authorizations, and patient intake while reducing overhead costs by up to 25% and cutting wait times for patients.

The platform has demonstrated particular value in women’s healthcare settings, where complex scheduling and specialized care coordination create significant administrative burdens. Women’s Health CT – Obstetrics & Gynecology has implemented EliseAI’s call center automation to streamline operations and improve patient experiences.

“EliseAI has transformed our OB GYN call center operations by streamlining complex workflows, reducing patient wait times, improving operational efficiency, and elevating the customer experience,” said Dr. Pierre Hage of Women’s Health CT – Obstetrics & Gynecology. “With EliseAI, we’re on the path to achieving 24/7/365 comprehensive practice management for our patients and staff.”

The AI platform automates front-desk and call center operations that traditionally require significant manual coordination in women’s health practices. This includes managing appointment scheduling for specialized services, handling insurance prior authorizations for procedures, and capturing detailed patient concerns that require clinical context.

Since raising its $75 million Series D in August 2024, EliseAI has doubled its workforce from 150 to over 300 employees and surpassed $100 million in annual recurring revenue. The company serves healthcare practices across multiple specialties while also providing automation solutions for housing operators.

“EliseAI is built on the belief that AI can dramatically improve how critical industries operate,” said Minna Song, Co-Founder and CEO of EliseAI. “For an average American, healthcare and housing represent approximately 40% of household spending. These two systems are notoriously complex, outdated, and painful to navigate.”

The funding will support team expansion across engineering, customer experience, sales, and operations as EliseAI grows its presence in New York, San Francisco, Boston, and Chicago. The company aims to address labor shortages and high turnover rates that affect healthcare operations, particularly in specialty practices like women’s health where staff retention can be challenging.
