Eli Health has launched public access to Hormometer, an instant hormone monitoring system that delivers cortisol results from saliva samples to a smartphone app within minutes.

The New York-based company founded by Marina Pavlovic Rivas and Thomas Cortina closed a $12 million Series A funding round in June 2025 led by BDC Capital’s Thrive Venture Fund and has raised $20 million to date. Eli Health completed over five years of research and development, securing 12 patent-pending innovations across biochemistry, hardware, software, and artificial intelligence.

Hormometer allows users to test cortisol levels at home using saliva samples without laboratory processing or sample shipment. The app provides results alongside personal trends and recommendations. The device has FDA registration and results are validated against ELISA, the gold-standard hormone testing method.

Up to one in three adults experience cortisol dysregulation during their lifetime. Traditional lab tests miss daily hormone fluctuations, making it difficult to identify patterns and implement lifestyle changes. Eli Health’s system enables frequent testing to track how stress management approaches affect cortisol levels.
