Audax has announced that it has signed a definitive agreement to sell Axia Women’s Health to Partners Group on behalf of its clients.
Axia Women’s Health is a women’s healthcare provider in the U.S. The Company is headquartered in Voorhees, New Jersey, and provides a highly integrated platform of non-clinical business and administrative support services such as accounting, HR, insurance, IT, and practice management services to its network of physician practices across the U.S. Axia partners with more than 80 care centers, comprising 150 locations and supporting 475,000 patients annually, which offer a wide range of care including obstetrics, gynecology, laboratory, mammography, urogynecology, fertility, and other women’s health sub-specialties. Axia is on the forefront of delivering women’s healthcare via an integrated model that treats patients across different phases of life, while supporting physicians’ clinical autonomy and ability to focus on care.
Since being formed by Audax in 2017, Axia has undergone a number of strategic growth initiatives:
- Expanded the continuum of care available to patients including investments in laboratory, mammography, urogynecology, fertility, and other capabilities in women’s health
- Developed value-based care programs, technology innovations, and care analytics to improve patients’ experience and outcomes
- Completed eighteen add-on acquisitions including expansion into the Midwest market, representing a significant step towards building a national platform
