Allara has raised $30 million to scale its virtual women’s health platform, which spans hormonal, metabolic, and reproductive care. The round included participation from existing backers Index Ventures and GV, alongside new investors Camino Partners, Foreground, and Family Fund, bringing the company’s total funding to $75 million
Allara will use the new capital to expand insurance-covered care nationwide and advance its proprietary AI technology.
Streamlining clinical care, the tech’s capabilities include chart synthesis, decision support, provider assistance, and new patient-facing features to increase care pathways, while accounting for provider capacity.
“We’ve proven at scale that integrated, insurance-covered care can produce meaningful outcomes for women,” said Rachel Blank, founder and CEO of Allara. “Our next phase is about making that care dramatically more accessible. With broad insurance coverage, new distribution partnerships and technology that helps our care teams operate at scale, we have an opportunity to reach millions of women.”
Over the past year, Allara has expanded its women’s health services across different lifestages – adding GLP-1s, hormone replacement therapy, prescription skincare, hair loss medications, and virtual urgent care for conditions like bacterial vaginosis, UTIs, and STI testing.
Allara has served more than 120,000 patients, with 89% reporting that they felt supported in making positive changes to their health.
“Allara is delivering an exceptional care experience for women whose complex needs have fallen through cracks in the traditional healthcare system,” said Elle Lanning, President at Camino Partners. “Rachel and her team have built an approach that meets women where they are, takes their conditions seriously, and consistently delivers outcomes through a unique multidisciplinary care model.”
