Personalized nutrition platform AHARA has announced its beta launch, bolstered by a $10.25M seed funding round led by Greycroft. Additional investors include Headline, SHAKTI, Dr. Samuel Jampolis, Co-founder Wainwright, and Sandy Sholl.

AHARA, co-founded by physician nutritionist Dr. Melina Jampolis and tech entrepreneur Julie Wainwright, uses multiple data inputs to generate individualized nutrition recommendations. These data inputs include genetic, epigenetic, and biomarker information from a health questionnaire. The data is processed using a proprietary AI algorithm.

The platform’s methodology is supported by over 300 scientific studies and an advisory board comprising of experienced doctors, clinicians, and nutrition professionals. AHARA offers health data collection, personalized nutrition plans, symptom reduction, and tracking via its platform.

Wainwright, who previously founded The RealReal, serves as AHARA’s CEO. Dr. Jampolis, a board-certified physician nutrition specialist and former president of the National Board of Physician Nutrition Specialists, is the Chief Medical Officer.

Dr. Jampolis shares: “I co-founded AHARA with Julie to make evidence-based, personalized nutrition accessible to everyone. The opportunity to contribute to nutrition science with our science-based, AI-supported approach was too important to pass up.”
