Our Opportunity:
Joylux is looking for an experienced Application Product Manager (Mobile Apps with web support) to help us build the future of our Menopausal Platform. This person will play a critical role in shaping and executing our vision for our digital experiences. This leader will report to the CEO initially (VP Marketing with scale), to deliver compelling end-to-end experiences that grow and deepen relationships with our customers. This person will partner closely with cross functional team members including Marketing, Operations, and internal and external developers to deliver and execute product roadmap. Internal developers will report into this position.
The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated, data-driven leader with proven experience creating robust digital experiences and familiarity with mobile app best practices. This candidate should be comfortable with ambiguity and be energized by working with smart people in a fast-paced environment. The role will require you to develop the long-term digital strategy and drive the roadmap through execution and customer feedback.
What You’ll Do:
Create, discover, and validate product opportunities with our new app and digital properties.
Understand and/or develop methods of collecting market research, competitive & data analysis, market trends, customer voice, and commercial inputs to drive product requirements and prioritization decisions.
Utilize data to understand customer behavior as well as business objectives, then transform those insights into clear requirements for product enhancements and new features that delight women, encourage increased utilization and enhanced interaction, while increasing menopausal data generation.
Analyze the structure and flow of Joylux’s work to identify possible application solutions. Be aware of the latest software developments and think of ways that it can be applied to make our business and the platform more efficient and successful.
Set product strategy, prioritize features, build consensus, write technical requirements, and then coordinate feature developments, releases and internal/external communications.
Seek and solve big challenges, learn new things fast, and break down multifaceted problems into achievable actions.
Coordinate with business stakeholders and continuously make sure we are delivering according to the constantly growing needs of the business. This will include determining what software is developed internally and what we buy from third-part vendors for all digital properties.
Track and deliver KPIs
What You’ll Need:
Minimum of 3 years’ experience
Strong analytical mind and problem-solving skills – comfortable with ambiguity; whether you don’t yet have enough information or have competing data and asks
Professional experience in Product Management or relevant experience for a B2C or B2B2C digital/software product
Understanding of data science and artificial intelligence and drive integration into our platform
A history of owning, developing, and communicating long-term vision and goals that drive strategies – you can take an idea and bring it to life in a way that exceeds customer expectations and can help communicate that vision to the team
Experience owning the test-and-learn roadmap to inform the product portfolio – you know how to test and learn via analytics, user research, prototyping, surveys, user testing, customer interviews, and rapid experimentation
Solid understanding of frontend and backend tradeoffs/costs – you have a technical background or have worked closely with technical resources in the past
Experience working in a culture of experimentation, learning, and innovation in order to solve the most critical customer needs
Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams to deliver products on tight deadlines
Technical curiosity and proven ability to partner closely with engineers to balance short term operational health and long term business goals
Excellent communication and organization skills; able to share findings and suggestions with cross functional team members – enjoy working collaboratively
