Joylux is seeking a brilliant eCommerce Director to join our growing team. We are changing the landscape of women’s menopausal health and providing life-changing solutions that empower women to live their best lives. This new position is responsible for managing all aspects of the eCommerce business including exponential sales growth, content strategy and development, promotional campaigns, website design, web analytics, online ad creation, improvements in customer acquisition costs, return on ad spend, and growth in the lifetime value of our customer. She will develop and implement robust and disruptive strategies across the digital landscape. Significant digital growth is expected, and will be achieved through awareness-building marketing, DTC strategy, and Amazon/etailer acceleration. Compensation will be structured accordingly.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate proactivity in building strategy that balances brand awareness to benefit online and offline channels. She will oversee the appearance, content and interactivity of the site, and ensure it meets the highest standards of eCommerce functionality, manage product information, branding, editorial and graphic quality, and adhere to best practices involving site architecture, navigation, process flows, page-level interactions, functionalities, usability, SEO and accessibility.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee the planning, QA and execution of content to ensure efficiency, accuracy and timeliness of all content publishing
- Manage all aspects of web analytics related to eCommerce and communicate relevant information to team members, executive leadership and cross-functional partners
- Generate and implement new sales and marketing initiatives to increase eCommerce sales and profitability
- Create and manage ads on social media channels, with detailed targeting knowledge and ability to manage creative process
- Provide expertise on current eCommerce industry best practices.
- Identify new areas of eCommerce opportunity beyond current organizational thinking
- Demonstrated strong business judgment and decision-making skills; ability to identify, prioritize, and articulate highest impact initiatives
- Direct our approach to achieve digital success while also driving awareness to benefit our professional channel.
- Management of post-campaign/initiative recaps that celebrate successes and create actionable improvement for future growth.
- Identify and manage vendor partners and third-party providers, in collaboration with other departments, to deliver the best results at the best cost.
- Continuously monitor cutting edge e-commerce trends to understand market dynamics and opportunities.
Minimum Qualifications
- 10+ years of B2C e-commerce, digital and marketing experience, having successfully driven accelerated growth for a branded online businesses. CPG experience is preferred. Experience in the health and wellness industry is a plus.
- Expertise of emerging E-commerce tools and technologies
- Proven track record of delivering on business objectives and sales targets
- Experienced in data-driven strategic analysis and customer insights
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Deep experience optimizing SEO, CRO, PPC, ROI Analytics, digital marketing, and email marketing
- Able to work well under pressure, and manage and prioritize a multitude of tasks
- Experience working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial and evolving high-growth business.
