Fullstack Engineer – Ecosystem

We are looking for a full-stack developer to join our Ecosystem squad in Helsinki, Finland. Being located in Helsinki is not a requirement for the position but is considered a plus. Being located in Finland is required and Oura will help with relocation, if necessary.

The currently eight-member Ecosystem squad is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining Oura’s B2B products and Oura’s web app. The ideal candidate wants to understand our users, build products that solve their needs, proactively advocate for technical investments, and gets a kick out of crafting quality code. We strongly value a proactive attitude and end-to-end ownership: taking a rough idea, working with others to turn it into a concrete feature or product, deploying it and monitoring its usage to make sure it solves the intended needs.

Because so much of our work is done together with other team members, empathy and excellent communication skills are very strongly valued at Oura. English is the de-facto language at Oura—no Finnish required.

As an Ecosystem squad full-stack developer, you will:

• Contribute to a product that improves the lives of hundreds of thousands of people across the globe
• Partner closely with the squad’s product manager and designers to help design and deliver great digital products
• Write code that is easy to understand and reason about
• Push for architectural improvements that will allow us to scale and build new types of products
• Work closely together with other developers on the squad, both around code and team processes and practices
