We are looking for a talented, experienced NetSuite functional leader to take ownership for our NetSuite ERP implementation. As Oura is a fast growing company with B2C and B2B channels, customers in over 100 countries, and operations in 3 locations, our back office systems are critical to our premium brand. As the primary point of accountability for the system, the successful candidate will lead and partner with cross-functional teams to ensure success for all stakeholders contributing to and depending on NetSuite. The Sr. Solution Manager will translate business requirements into detailed specifications and testing plans, working with internal and external engineers to deliver high quality solutions.The ideal candidate is equally comfortable working with Finance to lay out data compliant with accounting standards as they are with engineers to scope out APIs to complete integrations.

What You Will Do

  • Create and manage the roadmap for NetSuite across the organization while managing stakeholder expectations
  • Work cross-functionally to understand and define business cases and product strategy
  • Lead system implementation efforts end-to-end with transparent communications, plans and supporting materials
  • Explain the implications and benefits of NetSuite configuration options and know best practices for process excellence and automation
  • Work cross-functionally with stakeholders across the company to define detailed requirements and scope
  • Advise on how to change standard ERP workflows, when to use scripting tools to meet the business needs, and when to extend use through integrations
  • Write detailed requirements and use cases for new products, features, enhancements, and other opportunities to accelerate growth while ensuring stability and performance of our systems
  • Accountable for Internal Customer personas and Internal Customer Journey
  • Create and articulate vision for product development to support our internal customers
  • Plan and coordinate across multiple engineering teams
  • Ensure consulting partners adhere to NetSuite standards and best practices
  • Spearhead change management activities to drive successful adoption of capabilities
  • Ensure best practices in our integrations and systems usage, particularly in NetSuite ERP

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience architecting and implementing NetSuite for a company or companies at the scale of Oura (or larger), with 3+ years of experience in project leadership.
  • 5+ years experience as a functional leader working with cross-functional teams to implement software products or solutions.
  • Proven experience with the needs of disparate stakeholders as they relate to ERP systems, for example Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Customer Support, and Engineering.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred with focus in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent preferred.
  • Strong product and project management skills leading highly complex engagements with cross-functional teams
  • Experience in defining both business and functional level requirements, user stories/use cases, present state and future state process flows
  • Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills with a willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done, for example to validate solutions and diagnose problems.
  • Strong understanding of B2B and B2C business processes and requirements
  • Motivated self-starter who can manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously with a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with business users, software developers, other cross-functional co-workers, and outside partners.
  • Ability to influence and work collaboratively with development teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal English language communication skills
  • Experience working with remote teams or team members, agile/scrum, project tasking tools (e.g. Jira, Asana ), SQL, e-commerce platforms
  • Experience with B2B and B2C hardware businesses a plus
  • Understanding of SOX and GAAP compliance a plus
