In your role as Events Marketing Manager, you will build world-class marketing and events program, defining and executing high-quality events, as well as amplifying our story across social media channels to build the Cleo brand. You’ll create engaging experiences that are both creative and polished. In this role, you will report to Cleo Head of Marketing.
Key Responsibilities

- Lead and deliver Cleo events, specifically: executive events, trade shows, conferences, advisory board meetings, VIP dinners, and meet ups to build relationships, develop the pipeline, and accelerate sales.
- Ensure brand events are integrated thoughtfully into marketing messaging and campaigns.
- Work cross functionally with the marketing team, sales team, key executives, and external partners.
- Drive multiple projects in parallel, balancing critical, strategic thinking with quick tactical execution.
- Measure, analyze, and report on return on investment for event programs, including attendee feedback, pipeline development, and sales acceleration.
- Procure and manage vendors for all related event logistics including A/V, catering, badges, transportation, and other support services, as needed.
- Develop processes to ensure program quality and consistent experience for attendees, before, during and after events
- You can expect to travel up to 40% of the time in this role, traveling within the US around twice a month.
Your Experience:

- 3+ years of field, events, hospitality or trade show planning experience.
- Strong project management skills and an ability to develop and deliver events and programs within an ever evolving environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ideal candidate finds it easy to communicate with team members at all levels of the organization — as well as across multiple channels of communication.
- Ability to work independently against tight deadlines in a dynamic, changing environment keeping a sharp eye on detail and accuracy.
- Experience with high touch/concierge executive programs is a plus plus plus.
Candidate Profile:

- Bachelor Degree
- 3-5 years experience in sales, marketing, or business development
- Experience in events and customer relations
- Availability to work in Cleo’s San Francisco office
