Clinical Researcher (80-100%)
Location: Zurich, Switzerland
Responsibilities:
• Develop clinical trials in women’s health from A to Z (e.g. trial design, statistical analysis plan, clinical documentation, CRO appraisal and selection, recruitment planning, monitoring, close out, etc.).
• Drive clinical development deliverables (e.g., CEP, CIP, CER etc.) and the cross-functional interaction to reach them.
• Think inside and outside of the box to bring novel ideas to fruition and help patent them.
• Represent Ava globally in scientific events and conferences.
• Synthesize scientific knowledge for internal and external use (e.g. marketing, regulatory filings).
About You:
- PhD or M.Sc. degree in life sciences, medicine, epidemiology or biology.
- Minimum 2 years’ work experience in the clinical or medical field, more if you don’t hold a PhD.
- Relevant experience in and/or knowledge of at least half of the areas below (by order of importance):
- Managing and conducting Phase I-IV clinical trials according to GCP.
- Managing CROs from the sponsor side.
- Managing projects in clinical/medical settings.
- Writing clinical regulatory documentations (e.g., CEP, CIP, CER).
- Submitting regulatory filings for FDA and European body.
- Establishing clinical quality management systems (e.g., SOPs, FOs, WI writing).
- Managing clinical data sets with tools such as EDC including ePRO.
- Prior exposure to the medical devices or software as medical devices industry.
- Prior exposure to women’s health, fertility or endocrinology.
- General statistical and quantitative understanding in the clinical or medical field.
- Knowledge of local Swiss and German clinical trial regulation.
- Familiarity with clinical trial software (e.g., CTMS, eTMF, IWRS).
- GCP certification or equivalent with a good understanding of IC GCP or ISO 14155.
- Fluency in English with proven English writing skills (e.g., previous successful submission or papers).
- Swiss or EU/EFTA work permit.
