Role Description
Thinx is seeking a dynamic Vice President of Global Regulatory, Quality & Compliance to oversee the implementation and operation of a robust team; to fully support our fast-growing FDA registered feminine hygiene products. The Vice President will need to provide assessment, opportunities, risk management for new products and geographic expansion; and be responsible for setting strategy, SOP and policies both internally and externally. As a leader, the Vice President shall strive to achieve beyond market standard in safety, performance, quality standards and regulatory compliance; continue to enhance Thinx as the most trusted global brand in the category.
The Work You’ll do:
- Successfully lead and manage the 4 key compliance pillars
- Product Safety
- Supplier Compliance
- Packaging Compliance
- FDA Management
- Brand’s gatekeeper, ensuring all products meet strict 3rd party testing based on global market guidelines and are only manufactured in approved, certified facilities
- Drive and achieve Sustainability, ZDHC and MRSL goals with our partners
- Key partner for mass market channel and governing authority for compliance related subjects
- Establish metrics and reporting to measure ESG performance
- Build and maintain well documented procedures and records, including those required by FDA
- Stay abreast of global industry and regulatory landscape with respect to both apparel and fem care categories, and drive the company towards its goal of becoming the leader in product safety and ESG.
- Be the adviser of all compliance/regulatory related affairs both internally and externally
- Build a best-in-class compliance function for the organisation
- Lead and mentor a team to drive results
- Work collaboratively will cross functional partners to understand compliance needs and provide advice and solutions

This role is a key high visibility role for the Supply Chain team and reports directly to the SVP of Supply Chain.

Qualifications
- Knowledge of chemical management, sustainability and global regulatory landscape
- Knowledge of FDA preferred
- Highly resourceful and able to tackle any new challenge quickly and effectively
- Experience in working with mass market channels, ideally with global retailers
- At least 10+ years of experience in apparel, regulated products and/or CPG
- Ability to work in a fast paced, challenging environment.
- Great team leader, able to drive and build a lean effective team
- Clear, concise directive to drive results
