The Flex Company is looking for a seasoned executive to be our CFO. This person will partner with the CEO and our board of directors to grow the business from where we are today – the #1 alternative period product brand – to a global culture-changing force.
This executive will be the primary strategic partner to our CEO.

Responsibilities:

- Be the CEO’s primary thought partner on strategy & operations
- Along with CEO, lead corporate development and M&A
- Partner and empower the Board and the leadership team to make risk-informed, data-driven decisions that increase stakeholder (i.e., combination of shareholder, customer, and employee) value
- Frame and help guide decision-making on financial strategy (e.g., both debt and equity financing) to help achieve our ambitious growth goals
- Source and cultivate strategic relationships (e.g., investors, corporate partners) to build and accelerate company value creation
- Own our annual operating budget (currently mid-8 figure and scaling)
- Manage cash with a bias towards growth
- Lead and improve already high-performing teams including Finance/Accounting, BizOPs/Legal, Regulatory & Customer Experience
- Be the trusted advisor for rest of the leadership team on annual and quarterly goals and people management
- Help lead expansion across products & geographies

Requirements:

- 15+ years experience with 5+ years in executive/C-level positionsIs as open to learning as you are to teaching, self-aware, and unimpeachable integrity
- Demonstrated excellence managing an high 8 or 9 figure operating budgets
- Deep experience in strategic finance
- Strong breadth of experience leading non-finance functions (e.g., business operations, customer success, legal, etc.)
- Deep understanding of consumer businesses, preferably physical products and omni-channel revenues
- Strong transaction experience (e.g., corporate development, m&a, banking, PE/VC)
- Excellent leadership of accounting function (CFA not required but certainly advantageous)
In 3 months you will:
