We are looking for an HR Business Partner to support our US teams. The HR Business Partner will actively partner with management to drive people strategy and support the day-to-day needs of the incredible talent we have within Oura. You’ll have the opportunity to build processes from scratch and directly help our teams develop and scale.

You’ll play an essential role advancing a more diverse, accessible, equitable, and inclusive Oura through our promotion, retention, and inclusion practices.

Requirements

What you will do:

  • Be a trusted advisor to managers and employees across all US based teams to help them deliver their best work
  • Roll up your sleeves to execute a full range of HR duties from high-level strategy to program design to problem-solving
  • Solve problems and get to the root cause of any issue, no matter how complex, and design and quickly implement solutions
  • Provide insightful data to guide decision making and provide people solutions to make teams more effective
  • Drive planning and implementation of US specific HR initiatives, collaborate and assist with Global ones
  • Enabling leaders to be their best through direct, compassionate, and contextualized coaching

We would love to have you on our team, if You have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3-5 years of HR business partner and/or generalist experience supporting leaders and employees at global companies.
  • Strong relationship building skills with ability to influence and communicate effectively across all levels of an organization
  • Successful track record of designing and implementing people programs
  • Understanding of various employment laws and their impact on day-to-day matters
  • Self starter with an analytical mindset and deep business acumen
  • Ability to work through ambiguity, think creatively, and get into the weeds
  • Demonstration of experience in all HR competencies with deep expertise (certification, industry best practice creation, immersive experience) in at least one of the following: org design, coaching, recognition programs, talent management, communications, IDE, or change management
  • A passion for health and wellness.

Bonus points for:

  • Master’s or MBA degree in a related field, or HR Certification.
  • Experience in the Health Tech or Wearables Space.
  • Experience with High Growth startups
