What you’ll be doing:
- Strategically lead with Program Management & Creative leadership across all brand initiatives
- Build cross-functional relationships across brand, marketing, product design, industrial design, and engineering. And leverage relationships to inform problem solving and improve the brand team’s focus, approach, and velocity
- Act as a role model and mentor to production team
- Manage and evolve our production strategy, process, standards, and tools
- Develop lightweight, repeatable processes, standards, workflows and tools that keep the team nimble and successful in a culture that values moving fast and iterating quickly
- Provide operational strategy for complex problems associated with a growing organization and limited resources
- Ensure we are resourcing both the short term needs as well as looking ahead, and planning for the next big challenge across the brand teams
- Oversee the management and reduce project risks throughout the production process
- Oversee and/or manage vendors with responsible project owners, including reviewing bids for accuracy, consistency and once approved, initiate SOW’s and PO requests.
- Forecast and maintain asset production budgets
- Predict and/or identify roadblocks and obstacles, and proactively establish meetings or integration points between teams to address and resolve them
- Work with closely with our ECD, Program Manager, and SVP of Brand to establish production practices from the ground up, including; asset management, process, tool designation/organization, deliverables roadmap, and stakeholder engagement
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in Creative Production, either in-house or agency
- Strong knowledge of creative workflows in design, photography, video production, web development, event design and more
- 5 or more years of direct management experience with teams of 6+, including managers and distributed teams
- Experience managing a team of individual contributor
- Demonstrated knowledge of both creative and design process and strategy
- Demonstrated understanding of art production process across all mediums
- Experience working with external vendors, including sourcing and negotiating
- Experience managing large, complex budgets across multiple cost centers
