We are looking for an experienced Senior Creative Content Strategist who will be responsible for crafting and help leading Oura’s content strategy. In this role, you will work closely with Content and Brand leadership and cross-functional teams to craft compelling and cohesive narratives across our content franchises and touch-points. This role will report to our Head of Content, and will partner with Senior Marketing translating business briefs into creative content briefs and clearly articulating how we build our content roadmap.

This role will begin as a hybrid of remote/in-person but eventually will be in our San Francisco office (though, we could be flexible for the right person).

What you will do:

  • Craft and curate the editorial content calendar for all owned Oura Marketing channels
  • A hybrid specialist: Part strategy, part conceptual creative, part creator, part executional and technical deployment. A strategic contributor, while acting as a strong partner in helping manage the content strategy across all marketing touch points. Developing clear and engaging content that is consistent with the Oura’s brand, product and image. Addresses both business goals and consumer needs.
  • Works on content briefs and being able to understand various content types (videos, photography, articles, infographics) to be used in stories.
  • Identifying gaps in our content and recommending new topics and works with content project manager on creating, adjusting and managing the editorial calendar.
  • Deep expertise in creating content for digital/social/in-app based on product launches, strategy, consumer insights, data, behavioral trends, technology trends and developing creative concepts rooted in the strategy, and experience in executing digital concepts across multiple platforms.
  • Deep expertise is creating content for lifestyle brands
  • Ability to search and source untold or interesting stories to tell.
  • Works closely with content writers and project manager to evolve blog platform, new features, enhancements and new templates.
  • Helps build the content roadmap and platforms.
  • Building a brand content hub and editorial platform a plus.
  • Utilizing SEO methods to increase site traffic on the blog and YouTube
  • Analyzing content marketing data to identify trends and anticipate consumer needs. Performing content audits to assess how well existing content is performing. Performing content gap analyses to determine what type of content is missing and what is needed.

Requirements

We would love to have you on our team, if you have:

  • 7-10 years of proven content experience at a brand or agency
  • Deep Experience in creating content for lifestyle, fashion or consumer electronics brands.
  • Strong track record of bringing brands to life from insight to execution including: executing content ideas, audience research and insight development, writing creative and marketing briefs, campaign platform and message development, digital and channel strategies, building customer journeys and campaign ecosystems.
  • Excellent communicator with strong writing/editing skills and incredible attention to detail
  • Organized, self-motivated and scrappy, willing to do more with less and able to creatively problem solve.
  • Be able to build, craft and execute stories.
  • Both a team player and able to work autonomously.
