We are now looking for a Senior SW Algorithm Engineer to implement, develop and maintain existing algorithms in our products. Algorithms are the heart of Oura ring and we aim to be the best in the market when it comes to data reliability, data accuracy and visualizing the data to customers. In this role you will work closely with the science and application software development teams, and learn a wider perspective. You will also participate in developing the tools, processes and methods.
The role can be based in Oulu or in Helsinki.
We would love to have You on our team, if You have:
- Strong experience in C programming
- Experience in C++
- Solid troubleshooting and debugging skills
- Understanding of reference models and ability to independently define the validation method for the algorithms
- B.Sc or M.Sc degree in a relevant field of study
In addition, we would appreciate, if You have:
- Experience or interest in processing of sensor data, physiological measurements, digital signal processing algorithms
- Knowledge of some of the following: Matlab, Python, shell scripting
- Interest in mathematics, physics or biophysics
- Some knowledge of machine learning and artificial intelligence
- Experience in Unit Testing and end-to-end testing, and willingness to participate and develop testing in algorithm perspect
