- You’ll have the opportunity to take ownership of Clue’s product, UX and marketing writing while collaborating with our product, design and research teams as well as other stakeholders
- You will write compelling copy for multiple channels such as the core products, messaging, emails, marketing campaigns, online ad campaigns and social media outlets
- You’ll play a key role in acquiring new users, communicating with a cohesive voice and moving the core product forward with an emphasis on clear communication and copy that helps guide people through user flows
- You will help evolve and create a cohesive tone of voice for the Clue brand
- You’ll be working closely with the content team, scientists, product owners, designers, marketers, researchers, and, together with the rest of the creative team, you’ll help deliver a product that impacts millions of people.

About You
You are a talented writer and storyteller with the drive to write impeccable copy with a focus on digital products as well as communication through various marketing outlets. You have a structured way of thinking as well as a hands-on mentality with willingness to take an active role in our company shaping the product copy division. You thrive in fast-paced, iterative, and agile startup environments.
Requirements
- An excellent writer with superior communication, writing and editing skills as a fluent, native-level English-speaker with an understanding of inclusive and accessible language.
- Ability to take ownership of the company’s UX writing and collaborate closely with the product and design team and other stakeholders
- Ability to write clear microcopy that creates effortless understanding of the product
- Ability to ensure your work aligns with brand guidelines and tone of voice and speaks to our target audience.
- Basic understanding of usability and UX best practices as well as user experience research principles and practices
- Degree-level written English (perfect spelling and grammar)
- 2+ years creating product content for digital products as well as UX copywriting and copy-editing
Responsibilities
- You will write a range of UX and product related copy as well as brand, product marketing and messaging topics
- You will create a copy strategy for the product and the brand to help build a cohesive experience and build compelling narratives across platforms.
- You will own the product writing division and include best practices throughout multiple channels
- You will help build a compelling tone of voice and create a clear and cohesive brand communication style
- You will write and develop campaigns that support business goals in monetization, engagement, retention and other KPI’s.
- You will guide users on their way from their first encounter, to visiting the app store, emails and in-app messages to a subscribed user and the experience throughout our products
- You will work in a cross-functional team environment and stay accountable to the team.
