Description

Reporting to our COO, you will help us achieve our vision of being a trusted healthcare partner for women. Working cross functionally and often with the executive leadership team, you will identify major opportunities, structure analyses, and operationalize key projects. You will understand our business deeply and be a thought partner to our senior leadership.

As our first Business Operations leader, you will help define this function and grow a team over time. You will also be actively leading and executing multiple projects. This is a high impact, high visibility role for a person who is a team player and problem solver at heart.

Responsibilities

  • Help us seize our business opportunity to transform women’s health by catalyzing new levels of strategic thinking, quick execution, and clarity across our company priorities
  • Master our current business model, identify opportunities and challenges, structure analyses to define where we should focus
  • Bring a perspective of how Business Operations creates significant value at a startup and then build this function to outperform
  • Recruit and lead high performing junior Business Operations colleagues
  • Own and deliver against OKRs – lead multiple, highly impactful, cross-functional projects at any moment in time, regularly partnering with operations, engineering, product, and marketing teams
  • Ably utilize your quantitative skills and qualitative reasoning to influence decision making, challenge status quo and build consensus across the company
  • Be a thought partner and source of objectivity for our COO and executive team
  • Inspire passion for our mission across the company

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience across business strategy and operations roles, some healthcare experience strongly preferred
  • Prior experience in a business operations role is required
  • Natural “people person” who can quickly build trust and strong relationships
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Experience managing and nurturing metrics-driven teams
  • Master of prioritization and multitasking, with a bias to action
  • Low ego with extreme curiosity – someone who sees the opportunity to learn something from everyone
  • 2+ years of management consulting/banking or similar experience preferred

This is a full-time position, mostly onsite in San Mateo, CA – when offices reopen.
