To help us with this, we’re looking for a Consumer Ad Ops & Revenue Consultant to help us build better ad revenue, inventory and pricing reporting, and forecasting. This is a contract position.
What you’ll be doing:
- Create monthly revenue reports by ad product, ad placement (in-app, email, social), and pricing models (CPM, CPV, CPL, etc.) to forecast revenue and inventory needs based on historicals from Salesforce, our ad server and invoices
- Create detailed monthly and weekly pacing reports to identify any revenue at risk, with recommendations for optimizations
- Proactively analyze delivery issues or underperformance, and work with stakeholders to optimize ad inventory, pricing, placements, audience growth and other supply/demand strategy and tactics
- Analyze opportunities for new monetization or revenue growth, and work with stakeholders on forecasting, pricing economics and reporting
- Assist Finance, GM, Account Management and other stakeholders on pricing, including any seasonal or annual rate card changes
Requirements
- 5+ years experience in an ad and/or revenue operations with a strong background in reporting and analytics
- Highly competent analytical, quantitative skills and critical thinking with the proven ability to drive strategic direction through insightful analysis
- Ability to forge strong relationships and build consensus with business partners and stakeholders at all levels of an organization
- Ability to communicate and present detailed revenue numbers in a clear and compelling way
- A passion for numbers with an acute attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience in digital advertising & media sales industry required
- Expert competency Salesforce.com, ad servers (Google Ad Manager), Excel, Google sheets/slides, analytics reporting (Google Analytics, Tableau or equivalent). Ad order management and booking software (AdBook, Operative, Google Ad Manager, etc.) is highly preferred
