LOLA is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to own analytics, strategic insights and data infrastructure for our dynamic DTC business. Reporting to the VP of DTC, the ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced startup environment and brings a passion for translating data into deep insights to inform business decisions with a focus on DTC, product and marketing.

What you’ll be known for

  • Define KPIs and build automated dashboards, reports, and models to monitor DTC performance and empower the team to make decisions
  • Develop and proactively communicate business cases to help identify the highest ROI DTC initiatives and analyze performance post-launch, sharing learnings and next step recommendations with the team
  • Find actionable strategic insights through funnels, cohort analyses, user segmentation, and retention analyses and implement with team members to optimize business growth
  • Perform ad hoc reporting when needed by the team and train teammates regularly to institute a self-service data culture
  • Monitor industry trends to provide the DTC and broader team with insights and recommendations for testing and site optimizations
  • Own relationships with our data and analytics vendors such as Looker, Fivetran and Snowflake and manage any data integrity issues to quick resolution
  • Own our Looker platform and develop LookML models
  • Maintain data integrity across the organization

Who you are

  • Have 3-5 years of experience working in a Data Analyst role in a fast-paced startup environment, preferably a DTC or eCommerce company
  • BA/BS in Computer Science, Math, Economics, Statistics, or other quantitative field
  • Highly curious, love to ask questions and eager to dive in to solve ambiguous problems that drive the business forward
  • Ability to approach business problems creatively and build structure out of ambiguous requests
  • Ability to synthesize and communicate complex concepts and analyses in clear ways
  • Experienced pulling large and complex data using SQL
  • Experienced with Python
  • Experienced with Looker, have developed in LookML, and have built Explores, Looks and Dashboards
  • Experienced with marketing analytics (e.g. Attribution/Forecasting) and Google Analytics
  • Self-motivated, proactive, detail-oriented, learn autonomously, and highly organized
