You are at the front lines of the digital health revolution. You’ll join a top talent, fun, diverse, tight-knit team of experienced professionals who have worked in healthcare and technology across multiple functions. We think big and bold, and relentlessly execute.
You head algorithms and data science. You set algorithm specs based on product and business requirements, lead the development from concept to validation, secure FDA clearance and eventually launch them commercially. You contribute and oversee the development of algorithms and data science models in line with the business priorities and targets. You build, lead, and manage a team of top-notch algorithm engineers and data scientists. You work hand-in-hand with the product and engineering heads to define, and execute on, the company roadmap. You embrace agile algorithm development. You work fast without compromising on quality. You’re obsessed by measuring algorithm performance and improvements, and how they translate to achieving business targets.
Your responsibilities are:
- You own algorithms and data science at Bloomlife.
- You are responsible for setting algo performance specs and delivering on them, for their integration in product releases, for getting them through FDA clearance and CE marking and eventually through commercial launch.
- You define business-oriented metrics for algorithms and data science, establish the roadmap to get there, and lead the team to execute and deliver on it.
- You establish an agile mindset in the team with clear accountability and targets for each algorithm block.
- You lead and manage the team while contributing hands-on to development.
- You work in close collaboration with product, engineering, quality and regulatory teams, with the goal to provide tested, validated, robust and well-documented algorithms for securing regulatory clearance (FDA and CE marking) and deployment in products.
- You provide guidance on industry best practices in algorithms and data science.
