We are looking for a Marketplace Analyst to assist in day to day operations and sales analytics on our rapidly growing Amazon and Walmart.com storefronts. You will be responsible for optimizing listings and PPC advertisements in order to help grow our overall sales across all major online marketplaces such as Amazon and Walmart.com

Responsibilities:

    • Ensure optimal listing, A+, and storefront content on Amazon Marketplace.
    • Resolve all blockers to keeping listings live and functional while maintaining buy box.
    • Search and listing optimization including A/B testing of assets and content to improve product discovery and conversion rates.
    • Data analytics and regression analysis of advertising campaigns and product and keyword targeting in order to lower CPC and improve ROI.
    • Monitor competitor action and developing strategies to grow market share.
    • Improve review quantity, ratings, and sales rank.
    • Keep up to date on seller central features, options and policies.
    • Always adhere to marketplace guidelines.

About you:

    • You are highly organized, detail oriented, communicative and collaborative.
    • You recognize the impact that our Marketplace sales can have on the business and understand where things should sit in an omnichannel environment.
    • You are quick to identify and react to opportunities as they come up vs a set it and forget it mentality.
    • You are curious and naturally ask “why” and push to understand linkages and impacts in the market, our business, and campaigns.

Requirements:

      • Strong excel and analytical skills
      • Familiarity with PPC, SEO, content strategy, inbound marketing and other ecommerce selling techniques
      • Comfortable with diving deep into data and painting a cohesive story to back strategy and projects
      • Ability to measure impact and benchmark
      • Background/understanding in growth marketing methodologies
      • Ability to build and maintain models to interpret data and prepare future forecasts
Nice-to-haves:
    • Previous Amazon or Walmart.com Experience
    • Data analytics experience
    • Experience with JungleScout, Veritas, datahawk, or other software
    • Background in Statistics, Business Intelligence, or Analytics

In 1 month you will:

    • Become familiar with Seller Central, tech stack, & our fulfillment network
    • Shadow our growth marketing team to understand what works and what doesn’t in DTC
    • Shadow our creative team to understand what capabilities are available

In 2 months you will:

    • Take over day to day campaign management with strong oversight
    • Own weekly scorecard publication
    • Interface with relevant Amazon partners
    • Begin developing a marketplace playbook for the rest of the business

In 6 months you will:

    • Develop and execute campaigns on Amazon
    • Begin assisting with Amazon UK or WM.com
    • Develop and publish reports for executive leadership and omnichannel teams
