At Modern Fertility, we’re helping women own their fertility and their future by making fertility research and information more accessible. We’re looking for a product marketing expert to drive the growth of our business across the customer lifecycle. You’ll play a critical role in executing marketing strategies to grow our user base and provide the best possible customer experience.
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of product strategy, positioning and messaging, analytical and communication skills, and have a track record of strong cross-functional leadership. You are able to take qualitative and quantitative insights about our customers and turn them into compelling consumer-facing communications and project plans, value props, and communication journeys. You will work closely with the Modern Fertility founders on messaging by deeply understanding the product, industry, and profile of Modern Fertility’s customers.
The Role:
  • Own positioning and communications for our current and new products.
  • Build go-to-market plans for new products and audiences and partner cross functionally to implement them.
  • Develop and implement messaging journeys across the customer lifecycle, from pre-launch through long-term retention.
  • Gather and apply qualitative and quantitative insights – based on user research, market demand, competitive intelligence, and customer feedback – to champion customer needs and pain points and shape the product roadmap.
  • Own and drive forward a roadmap of growth experiments across various channels to increase overall engagement.
What gets us excited:
  • 5-8 years of experience in product marketing roles
  • Experience in product marketing, ideally in the direct to consumer space
  • Exceptionally strong analytical skills
  • Experience gathering, analyzing, and applying user and market research to enhance a product and the messaging around it
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple workstreams at once
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to take new products to market, from ideation to launch
  • Strong storytelling, messaging, and writing skills, with a demonstrated ability to translate technical or clinical features into compelling customer-centric narratives
  • Desire to engage with customers and understand their needs
