DotLab is hiring a Business Development executive to drive and execute strategic partnerships.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Devise strategies for partnering with external organizations (e.g., study partners, distribution partners)
- Identify opportunities in the diagnostics market through strategic market and customer segmentation
- Perform qualitative and quantitative analyses of partnerships and deal structures
- Source domestic and international partnership opportunities that drive product growth and adoption
- Cultivate long term professional relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders; serve as the key contact for partners
- Build alliance management processes and capabilities to implement the right governance and manage partners once contracts are in place
REQUIREMENTS
- 6+ years of experience working in business development (preferably in biopharma, medical devices, or diagnostics)
- MBA and/or JD is a plus
- Proven track record of sourcing partnerships, negotiating contracts, and finalizing deals
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong negotiation skills
- Willing to go deep on the science for a technical product and communicate at the right level of detail
- Enthusiasm to work in startup environment
