DotLab is hiring a Business Development executive to drive and execute strategic partnerships.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Devise strategies for partnering with external organizations (e.g., study partners, distribution partners)
  • Identify opportunities in the diagnostics market through strategic market and customer segmentation
  • Perform qualitative and quantitative analyses of partnerships and deal structures
  • Source domestic and international partnership opportunities that drive product growth and adoption
  • Cultivate long term professional relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders; serve as the key contact for partners
  • Build alliance management processes and capabilities to implement the right governance and manage partners once contracts are in place
REQUIREMENTS
  • 6+ years of experience working in business development (preferably in biopharma, medical devices, or diagnostics)
  • MBA and/or JD is a plus
  • Proven track record of sourcing partnerships, negotiating contracts, and finalizing deals
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Willing to go deep on the science for a technical product and communicate at the right level of detail
  • Enthusiasm to work in startup environment
