Job description

Peanut is on the hunt for an SEO/ASO lead to design and execute our organic user acquisition strategy, increasing our visibility and traffic across search engines and app stores.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead, plan and scale Peanut’s SEO and ASO strategy (on-site and off-site), working on projects to improve search engine crawlability, visibility and indexation.
  • Own and execute the off-site SEO strategy to build and grow a healthy back-link profile and growing it with relevant outreach:
    • Plan and implement content development to support both organic SEO and link-building goals.
    • Support marketing content development to use for social media purposes (e.g. customer videos briefs, customer case studies, blog posts, posts from analysts and customers)
    • Plan and implement link building campaigns.
  • Own and execute the on-site SEO/ASO strategy:
    • Perform keyword research to drive the creation and optimization of web content.
    • Create and maintain on-site SEO content, e.g. SEO landing pages.
    • Provide SEO analysis and recommendations in coordination with elements and structure of our website / web pages and app deep links
    • Monitor and report on SEO technical quality and diagnostics, from crawlability and indexation to performance, and interface with the engineering team to fix issues and improve SEO performance.
    • Administer search engine programs (XML sitemaps, webmaster tools, Moz…) for purposes of diagnostic reporting on projects
  • Report on SEO performance and coordinate with the Engineering team as appropriate to execute improvements.
  • Strive to gain a deep understanding of Peanut user search behaviors – what women search, where they search and why they convert.
  • Identify content opportunities based on search insights, standard methodologies, and new search result types.
  • Work closely with the paid, brand and PR teams to ensure a fully integrated and collaborative approach.
  • Knowledge of market trends to analyze and adapt efforts accordingly.

Job requirements

Who You Are

  • 5 years experience in organic SEO with proven results with 2 years experience in organic ASO
  • An in-depth knowledge of SEO tools, keyword research and strategies
  • A comprehensive knowledge of organic search and how SEO activities influence search engine ranking algorithms
  • Passionate about the Peanut vision and brand values
