Collective X Health Raises $3.2M to Build Women’s Health Data Platform

Collective X

Collective X Health, a B2B women’s health intelligence platform co-founded by Dr. Stacy Sims, has launched with $3.2 million in pre-seed funding. The round was led by Council Capital and Anthemis Female Innovators Lab Fund with participation from SoGal Ventures, Emerson Collective, Muse Capital, and Segal Ventures.

Built on peer-reviewed research and female-specific data, Collective X offers companies across wearables, digital health platforms, performance brands, and sports teams a research-backed intelligence layer to develop health, recovery, and performance insights.

Available through an API, the platform cites its sources and can serve as a company’s women’s health research foundation or help validate its own findings. Founding customers include Human Powered Health and Altra Running.

“Women have been systematically excluded from health research, with generational consequences,” said Sims, Co-Founder and Chief Research Officer of Collective X. “We pair vetted academic research with commercial scale, so companies, clinicians, and health and performance products can finally build on data designed for and from female bodies.”

Co-Founder and CEO Lindsey Abramo added: “Women’s health isn’t a niche market. It’s half the population, yet less than 9% of NIH funding reflects that. “Every company claiming to serve women should be able to show the research behind that claim.”

“Collective X’s edge isn’t a smarter model. It’s a smarter foundation underneath the model,” said Elizabeth Davis, Partner, Anthemis Female Innovators Lab Fund. “Instead of every wearable and health platform trying to solve the same research problem on its own, CX gives the entire women’s health ecosystem an evidence layer to build on.”

Collective X will continue expanding its research across lifestages through its Research Lead Collective, led by Sims. The initiative recently secured a $200,000 commitment from Momentous through its ongoing grant program to support further research in women’s health and sports science.
