Mensis has secured DKK 760,000 in non-dilutive funding through Innovation Fund Denmark’s Innofounder program to develop its continuous hormone monitoring platform.
Founded by Kateřina Komárková and Dorka Dunavölgyi, Mensis is developing a biosensor designed to continuously collect hormone data, providing insights across women’s health and lifestages. The funding will support further research and eventual product development.
“Most of what’s known about a woman’s hormones comes from a single blood draw, a snapshot rather than a pattern. This funding lets us keep closing that gap, moving closer to giving women, clinicians, and researchers data they’ve never had access to before,” the company shared on LinkedIn.
Aiming to streamline hormone tracking for deeper women’s health insights, Mensis will join a growing cohort of at-home monitors, including Eli Health’s saliva-based tests, Persperity Health’s sweat-sensing technology, and Mira’s urine analysis.
