Period-Proof Underwear

Thinx inc., a rapidly- growing company that is disrupting the period, incontinence and reproductive health categories, seeks an Analytics Director who will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer and manage the Analytics function at Thinx inc. The core responsibility of the Analytics Director is to drive Business Outcomes by spreading Data Culture throughout the organization and ensuring Data Literacy through teaching and empowering others, so that the business unit teams can make decisions quickly and efficiently. The Analytics Director would be an advocate for data and is responsible for providing analytic support across the organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Manage analytical teams and build analytical talent
    • Foster a data culture built around data-fluency and self-service analytics
    • Inform technical and non-technical audiences
    • Partner with business stakeholders including building out data platform and infrastructure, and defining new business metrics
    • Work with e-commerce KPIs in order to determine how they impact operational and financial performance of the business
    • Strategize analytical needs of the overall organization as the data function scales, while still producing immediate need analytics

REQUIREMENTS

    • 8+ years of BI work experience, including hands on technical management
    • Deep knowledge of Analytics technical stacks including data warehouses, ETL, and BI tools (Redshift preferred)
    • Prior experience with data platforms (Looker preferred)
    • Knowledge of the software development lifecycle
    • Experience monitoring and driving adoption for business systems
    • Prove ability to understand the business questions posed by executive leadership and business units, translate the questions into analytics, and then re-interpret the results back to stakeholders
    • Data governance mindset
    • Passionate advocate for data and the impact it can have
    • Track record of working cross-functionally
