Become part of the Her adventure and join us building the largest space for LGBTQ+ women. From our app to our events, we’re focussed on making it as easy as possible for women to meet each other with products and experiences, designed for them.
It’s crazy that up until the day Her was born, there wasn’t a single dating app built by women, for women. We thought that was weird and missing in our lives, so we started to make it.
Her is now live in 55 countries, over a million queer users and runs events in 12 cities across the world. We’re growing, everywhere, because queer women had been waiting a really long time for Her.
We’re a very diverse, very passionate team. We commit, we work hard, we lead, we celebrate a lot and we’re incredibly proud of what we’ve built. But there is so much more to do (we’re still dreaming of creating Our Chart) and we’re looking for local city leads to run events for Her in their area.
Responsibilities and Expectations
Host Her events every quarter for your community
Build a Her team of volunteers in your city to host the event with you
Great knowledge of alternative / creative venues for ideas
Track and manage a budget for each event
Develop creative, compelling concepts for events
Make attendees feel like they have finally found their people
Requirements
Previous experience running events
Existing relationships with the LGBTQ community in your city
Strong attention to detail
A love for the queer community & desire to give back
