As LOLA’s freelance designer, you’ll be essential to manifesting LOLA’s look and feel across multiple channels and audiences. As a key member of our burgeoning creative team, your goal is to bring the LOLA brand to life through email design, display ad creation, all paid social assets, direct mailers, and animated motion design.
You will be required to attend our creative brief in meetings once a week in office, and dedicate 20-25 hours of design work for LOLA per week.
What you’ll be known for
- Own LOLA’s visual assets from concept to execution, finding new and creative ways to express LOLA’s mission and values to existing and potential customers
- Adapt the LOLA brand system to a variety of audiences and touch points, including digital, print, paid social, and video.
- Partner cross-functionally with our Marketing Team, B2B Team, Product Team, and Brand Team.
- Set a high bar for effective and elegant design, balancing LOLA’s core brand with evolving and category-leading visual approaches
Who you are
- 3-5 years of agency or in-house experience (ideally both!) in growth and marketing design, such as illustration, motion design, digital design, type design, and paid social asset design.
- Works independently and as part of a creative team, alongside in-house designers and copywriters.
- Strong project management and communication skills. You will be required to work in Asana, Airtable, and Invision to manage your own workload as well as Google Docs to archive all of your projects once they are completed.
- Excited to tackle every project, no matter how big or small; you commit equally to designing evergreen assets alongside product launches.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to translate your design language and strategy to other stakeholders across the organization
