LOLA is looking for a results oriented Director of E-commerce who will act as an overall e-commerce leader and collaborate cross-functionally to manage and direct all aspects of the e-commerce business.  This includes strategizing, planning, developing and executing content plans, overseeing the generation of promotional materials and campaigns, monitoring performance analytics and managing to the D2C P&L. The candidate must have a proven track record of running a successful e-commerce business.

What you’ll be known for

  • Orchestrating all aspects of the strategic e-commerce plan; combining existing expertise in sales, marketing, technology and management to deliver a superior brand and shopping experience for all customers
  • Direct integrated campaigns that will deliver an increase in conversion rates, active subscribers, overall order size and manage margin performance across a variety of product lines
  • Partner with the Digital and Marketing teams to identify, recommend and execute strategies and initiatives to drive increased website traffic, conversion rates, revenue and profitability by leveraging analytics and A/B testing
  • Oversee Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) and e-commerce Management/Web Operations
    Monitor KPIs and provide reporting to key stakeholders on E-Commerce and website performance, highlighting accomplishments and optimizations, identifying opportunities for growth
  • Generate and implement new sales and marketing initiatives to increase e-commerce sales and profitability in alignment with KPIs
  • Manage to the Digital P&L to ensure profitable growth
  • Partner with Customer Experience team to continually improve the customer experience.
    Manage third party vendors and internal resources to ensure the success of the direct to consumer business
  • Provide thought leadership and expertise on current e-commerce industry best practices
  • Identify new areas of e-commerce opportunity beyond current organizational thinking
  • Provide analysis of key business metrics and site performance; evaluate ROI with key stakeholders to share learnings and present go forward strategy to drive businessWho you are
    • 7+ years’ experience in D2C e-commerce, D2C subscription business experience a plus
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Marketing (or comparable work experience)
    • Demonstrated history of successfully managing and growing an e-commerce business
    • A problem solver and data wizard who is able to interpret data and draw conclusions to implement new e-commerce strategies
    • Proven leader with experience both managing and executing large eCommerce projects
    • Demonstrated business judgment and decision-making skills; ability to identify, prioritize, and articulate highest impact initiatives
    • Experience managing team members
    • Experience working within an e-commerce platform and familiarity with different e-commerce platforms or 3rd party solutions
    • Experience with A/B Testing Tools (Monetate, Optimize, Optimizely, etc…) and methodologies
    • Experience with Analytics and Data Visualization tools, including Google Analytics and Looker
    • Excellent communication skills
