The Lead IT Integration Testing Analyst’s role is to deliver guidance and technical support to the team of IT Integration Testing Analysts. In addition to providing direct technical support to develop best practice test plans and coordinate integration testing activities, the will also be expected to be a member of the team performing integration testing activities. The position will also be the lead to provide status updates on all integration testing activities resulting from the tracking of this activities and outcomes against the test plan. The Lead IT Integration Testing Analyst is also responsible for assisting in the design, delivery, and improvement of testing software automation tools, training programs and related courseware.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Creates and deploys best practice IT integration testing methodology in accordance with Progenity’s CLIA, CAP, SOX, HIPAA, HighTech and Enhancement Controls QA requirements.
- Evaluates documented testing outcomes and analyze trends for ways to prevent repeated future problems.
- Conducts research into software testing application products and services in support of QA and Integration testing efforts.
- Provides support for the testing of new and existing software applications under development or consideration for purchase.
- Fields incoming integration testing requests as part of the overall project team.
- Documents all pertinent testing plans, outcomes and recommendations.
- Prioritizes, schedules, and conducts all integration testing activities.
- Performs hands-on fixes at the desktop level, including installing and upgrading software, installing hardware, implementing file backups, and configuring systems and applications.
- Records, tracks, and documents the problem-solving process, including all successful and unsuccessful decisions made, and actions taken, through to final resolution.
- Communicates testing problems and issues to key stakeholders, including management, development teams, end users, and unit leaders.
- Tests fixes and perform post-resolution follow-up to ensure problems have been adequately resolved.
- Identifies and learns appropriate software applications used and supported by the organization.
- Coordinates with department heads to assess departmental application training needs and objectives.
- Participates in the design, development, and delivery of software applications training programs and individual classes.
- Posts software updates, drivers, knowledge bases, and frequently asked questions resources on company intranet to assist in problem resolution.
- Performs preventative maintenance, including the installation of service packs, patches, hot fixes, anti-virus software, and so on.
- Applies diagnostic utilities to aid in troubleshooting.
- Manages and/or provides guidance to junior members of the team.
- Complies with the Progenity’s Polices/Procedures protecting patient information and the confidentiality of the information in accordance with the Federal and State regulations, including SOX, HIPAA, Hitech and support principles of IT Risk Management.

REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor of Science (or equivalent experience) is required.
- Functional understanding of and experience with integration testing methodologies.
- Proven experience with defining and writing test plans for complex systems.
- Able to develop and interpret technical documentation for training and end user procedures.
- Knowledge of trends in technology relating to software testing applications.
- Experience with building and maintaining databases for query and problem tracking.
- Good understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives.
- Highly self motivated and directed.
- Ability to absorb new ideas and concepts quickly.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
