Website heyjanehealth Hey Jane

The first fully digital clinic for abortion pill access

Hey Jane is a digital clinic serving women’s most impactful health needs. We’re starting by tackling one of women’s most common, yet most stigmatized, treatments: abortion. One in four women will get an abortion in their lives, but the treatment today is inaccessible, needlessly expensive and incomparably stigmatized. We leverage FDA-approved abortion pills, telemedical consults and holistic emotional care to support pregnant people through this highly safe and effective treatment at home.

We’re forming a team of brilliant, empathetic and energetic builders who are passionate about increasing access to patient-centered healthcare for all women.

Our Head of Product will oversee design and tech to build a seamless and empathetic digital product to support the company’s mission. This role requires a strong leader on product design and development, as well as the ability to contribute to product vision. We’re looking for someone interested in breaking the status quo and rebuilding the way women experience healthcare, on both patient and clinician facing products.

You will be joining Hey Jane at the ground floor. As we ramp up to launch our MVP over the summer, it will be your responsibility to test, learn and build on the current products we’re using. User and Provider testing and constant iteration will be a critical part of the role. Ensuring these products are designed with rapid growth and scale in mind is equally important.

Required Skills:

  • 4+ years of Product experience
  • Executing full product cycle, from conceptualization/development to launch and ongoing delivery and iteration
  • Defining and executing against product roadmap for all product lines on both technology and physical products, prioritizing features based on unmet consumer needs, competitor solutions, and business impact
  • Sourcing, managing, and integrating product vendors
  • Experience with API Integrations in the back-end
  • Chat, secure messaging, email, video, payment processors
  • Scrappiness, good communication skills, and ability to work with non-technical team members

Additional preferred experience includes:

  • Building a HIPAA-compliant product architecture
    Previous experience at startups
