ROLE SUMMARY
We are hiring an experienced HR Generalist Manager / Senior Manager to manage the day-to-day HR operations of the Company and develop the Employee Relations program.
Reporting directly to the Head of People, you will be responsible for leading and performing HR-related duties on a professional level as part of the People Team. This position will be focused on responsibilities in the following HR areas: On-boarding, benefits administration, training, performance management, policy implementation, some recruiting and employment law compliance. You will also be responsible for developing Everlywell’s first Employee Relations program, in close collaboration with key business partners.

What You’ll Be Responsible For:
- Together with the Head of the People, determine Everlywell’s human resources strategy for building a best in class, scalable function that will support the Company’s current and future needs.
- Establish strong and effective working relationships with internal/external customers to promote and support positive employee relations, company culture and employee engagement efforts.
- Support employees and managers with HR related questions, interpreting and explaining HR policies.
- Take responsibility for the successful delivery and execution of onboarding and offboarding employees.
- Guide managers through annual processes such as pay planning, objective setting, and performance reviews.
- Manage all benefits processes, tasks and responsibilities; act as the internal subject matter expert for benefits.
- Conduct, review and analyze employee engagement surveys, identifying actionable feedback; develop insightful trend reporting for senior leadership; facilitate discussions around improvement opportunities and drive commitments.
- Develop and deliver management training, including a Manager’s Toolkit.
- Take on special projects as assigned by the Head of People.
What You’ll Be Accountable For:
- The day-to-day operations of the People Organization and throughout the employee lifecycle.
- The recording and analysis of key HR metrics and updates to dashboards.
- Tracking commitment follow-through from employee engagement surveys.
- Collection and organization of all HR documentation including new hire paperwork, performance documentation, legal notices, training records, etc.
- Providing direction to the team responsible for execution of company events and activities in partnership with the employee led “Culture Committee.”
Your Education & Experience:
- You have at least seven to 10 years of experience in a HR Generalist or HR Specialist role, including three years of management experience.
- Strong knowledge of applicable local, state and federal employment laws.
- Ability to handle and maintain confidential information.
- Experience in the administration of benefits, compensation and other Human Resources programs.
- Ability to balance multiple priorities and work under established timelines.
- PHR certification preferred but not mandatory.
- Prior experience in a fast-paced startup environment a plus.
