ROLE SUMMARY
Reporting directly to the CFO, the Director of Finance & Analytics will leverage data to provide financial and strategic decision support to the business and ensure the achievement of short- and long-term financial goals. Working with management, this person will facilitate the understanding of key business dynamics including cohort analyses, margin, price elasticity, operational efficiencies, and channel performance. This position will also own the corporate operating model, spearhead the annual and monthly forecast processes, Budget vs. Actual analyses, cash flow projections, as well as assist in preparing board materials, and investor facing information.

What You’ll Do:
  • Lead annual financial budget planning and three-year financial planning processes and ensure they are linked with corporate strategy and overall business goals
  • Drive effective monthly and quarterly financial forecasting and reporting processes
  • Model new channels, investments, and product offerings
  • Drive research and analysis of trends, leading indicators, and business statistics
  • Provide key analytical and financial decision support for senior executives across all functional areas including the sales, marketing, product, and lab teams
  • Drive financial analyses to evaluate the company’s operational and strategic decisions
  • Produce recurring and ad hoc management reporting to identify trends, build business cases, highlight opportunities and risks, and drive business decision making
  • Manage various special projects including strategic partnerships, business development opportunities, assessing the company’s capital structure, and free cash flows analysis, etc.

Your Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in math, statistics, economics, finance, or equivalent. MBA strongly preferred.
  • 8-12 years of related experience in advisory FP&A, management consulting, or analytics delivery
  • At least 6 years of people management experience=
  • Possess a supreme understanding of planning, budgeting, forecasting and pricing practices
  • Demonstrated experience establishing and improving operational processes to drive efficiencies and streamline operations
  • You have experience synthesizing multiple data points from various sources into a cohesive recommendation and can communicate across all levels of the organization
  • You are obsessed with data accuracy and establishing processes to cultivate the understanding of needle movers
