Science&Humans, a Canadian hormone health platform, has closed a CAD $10M (approximately USD $7M) oversubscribed Series A combining equity and debt financing. The round was led by Pender Ventures, with participation from WELL Health Technologies Corp., entrepreneur Michele Romanow, CIBC Innovation Banking, and a group of US-based healthcare investors and physicians.
The Toronto-based company offers hormone care across conditions including PCOS, PMS, PMDD, endometriosis, fertility challenges, perimenopause, menopause, and andropause. Science&Humans reports it has served more than 50,000 patients across Canada, with over 80% reporting symptom improvement within 90 days, according to the company.
“Hormone health was not treated as a category in Canada when we started,” said Aftab Pashaw, co-founder and CEO of Science&Humans. “This funding reflects a broader shift in how healthcare systems, employers, and patients are thinking about daily wellness, mental health, and long-term outcomes.”

The company plans to use the funding to expand its technology and clinical platform, scale access across Canada, and deepen partnerships with employers and insurers. Science&Humans operates both direct-to-consumer and through workplace wellness programs.
Science&Humans was founded by Hira Siddiqui and Aftab Pashaw.
