Sunfish, a fertility fintech company, is expanding its partnership with the Ivy Fertility clinic network to all 28 of Ivy’s US locations. The expanded partnership gives Ivy patients access to Sunfish’s Financial Hub, a platform designed to help people navigate the costs of fertility care, as well as the company’s loan marketplace. Select Ivy clinics will offer Sunfish’s IVF Success Program, which creates customized flat-fee IVF bundles that include a partial money-back guarantee and unlimited transfers based on patient biodata.
“Ivy was one of our first clinic partners, and three years and hundreds of patients later, we’re thrilled to support even more families on their fertility journeys,” said Angela Rastegar, CEO and co-founder of Sunfish. “As someone who has been through the process myself, I have always believed that IVF shouldn’t feel like a financial gamble and now at Sunfish, we’re using data, AI, and design to make care more accessible and easier to navigate. This combination of predictive analytics and financial protection, paired with the exceptional patient care Ivy offers, is transforming how patients and clinics think about fertility and financing.”
Sunfish was founded in 2022 and has raised $15 million in venture capital funding. The company has supported over $200 million in loan applications across all 50 US states.
The IVF Success Program uses AI and millions of data points to predict a patient’s unique journey to parenthood based on their biodata. Sunfish creates a personalized, all-inclusive package in collaboration with partner clinics that includes unlimited embryo transfers. If treatment is unsuccessful, patients receive a partial refund.
According to Sunfish, 70.8% of transfers among its patients have resulted in a successful pregnancy and graduation to OBGYN, compared to a 54.3% national average reported by SART. The company attributes this to the combination of financial protection and evidence-based guidance developed with its medical advisory board.

“We want to support every patient,” Rastegar said. “There are no exclusions based on age, ovarian reserve, or any other factors.”
Sunfish operates as both a SaaS company and a membership service. Clinics pay for patient care coordination software, while patients pay a membership fee to access the all-inclusive bundle. Patients can pay upfront or through a monthly payment plan with a 0% interest option. The company says most patients save up to $9,000 per cycle compared to going directly through a clinic.
Beyond the Ivy network, Sunfish is now in over 70 clinic locations across the US.
“Our team is continually evaluating the best solutions and innovations that will support patient care,” said Constance Rapson, Chief Growth Officer at Ivy Fertility. “As a long-time Sunfish partner, we’ve seen how they are using new technology to make the patient experience excellent by providing greater financial support and clarity, ultimately helping more people go home with a baby.”
Rastegar has gone through her own fertility journey, including four egg retrievals and major surgery for fibroid removal. “Being on the patient side has really furthered my commitment to the mission,” she said. “A lot of people on our team have been through their own fertility journeys. This is our life’s work.”
The company is also running a Sunfish Cares initiative through year-end, contributing $1,000 toward treatment for new IVF Success Program patients at participating clinics.
Sunfish currently operates in the US and Mexico, with plans for further international expansion.
