Eating disorder telehealth provider Equip Health has raised $46.6 million in a new funding round, according to Securities and Exchange Commission filings initially reported by Behavioral Health News. The company has now raised a total of $156.3 million, including this latest round.

Equip’s platform provides virtual appointments with multidisciplinary teams consisting of therapists, doctors, dietitians, family mentors, and peer mentors. This comprehensive approach addresses the clinical complexity of eating disorder treatment while overcoming geographic access barriers.

Earlier this year, actress Kerry Washington invested an undisclosed amount in Equip and joined as an advisor, further supporting the company’s mission to expand eating disorder treatment access through digital health solutions.
