Progyny has joined Amazon’s Health Benefits Connector as the first comprehensive women’s health and family building solution, enabling eligible customers to discover and enroll in fertility, family building, and menopause benefits through the platform.
The collaboration addresses a significant access challenge, as nearly 25% of U.S. adults report not understanding what benefits are available through their health plans. Amazon’s Health Benefits Connector simplifies this process by connecting individuals with trusted healthcare solutions through a streamlined enrollment process.
Progyny’s platform serves over 530 employers and health plans across the United States, supporting more than 6.7 million lives. The company provides services spanning the reproductive health continuum, including fertility, preconception, pregnancy, postpartum, menopause, and parenting support through its clinically integrated care model.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Progyny as the first comprehensive women’s health provider to Amazon’s Health Benefits Connector,” said Aaron Martin, Vice President of Healthcare at Amazon. “This collaboration marks an important expansion of our program, enabling easier access to Progyny’s full spectrum of women’s health services.”
Through the platform, Amazon customers can verify their eligibility for Progyny services with simple clicks and begin their healthcare journey with personalized support if covered by their employer or health plan. The integration aims to reduce barriers to accessing women’s health benefits.
“Amazon and Progyny have a proven track record of creating market leading solutions in their respective industries, so we knew they were the right collaborator to help make it even easier for our members to find and access their life-changing benefits,” said Michael Sturmer, President of Progyny.
Progyny’s model combines concierge support, coaching, education, and digital tools with access to a network of fertility and women’s health specialists. Amazon’s Health Benefits Connector program focuses on connecting individuals with healthcare solutions that address common health needs while simplifying the path to care. The addition of Progyny expands the program’s coverage into comprehensive women’s health services.
The collaboration represents Amazon’s continued expansion into healthcare accessibility, building on its existing health initiatives to create streamlined pathways for customers to access covered benefits. For Progyny, the partnership provides a new channel to reach eligible members who may not be aware of their available benefits.
