Visana Health has joined Aligned Marketplace’s network of advanced primary care providers, expanding access to its virtual women’s health clinic for self-funded employers including 7-Eleven.
The virtual-first clinic specializes in complex gynecological conditions including menopause, endometriosis, and PCOS, providing comprehensive care from menstruation to midlife. Through Aligned Marketplace’s value-based payment structure, Visana can offer services typically not reimbursed in traditional fee-for-service models, including health coaching, nutrition support, and care coordination.
Women comprise 47% of the workforce, with menopausal women typically incurring 50% higher total healthcare costs than average. Visana’s clinical team aims to improve outcomes while reducing costs, having demonstrated a 4:1 return on investment for health plan and employer partners, according to the company.
“Under the value-based construct, Visana Health’s clinical team can deliver better outcomes for the women we serve while reducing the total cost of care for self-funded employers,” said Joe Connolly, co-founder and CEO of Visana Health.
Founded in 2023, Aligned Marketplace curates independent primary care providers for employer contracts, offering both virtual and in-person options to help employees establish long-term healthcare relationships at lower costs.
