Ovia Media is looking for a Senior Account Executive in the New York, Chicago, or West Coast areas to help drive sales initiatives in advertising, sponsorship, and business development. The Senior Account Executive will be responsible for managing current business and generating revenue from advertising channels. This is a key role as Ovia Health continues to expand and explore new business ventures. Some responsibilities include:

Core Responsibilities/ Essential Duties:

  • Cultivate consultative relationships with clients at multiple levels at both the agency and client level; make frequent contact and demonstrate in-depth knowledge of their business, industry and key competitors
  • Drive advertising revenue by prospecting, closing new business and managing renewals within account list
  • Meet and exceed a quarterly sales quota by selling in-app display media, video, social, and custom advertising solutions
  • Generate business through regular outreach to new clients and advertising agencies with face to face meetings, calls, presentations, events, entertainment and other related efforts.
  • Develop a strong understanding of Ovia’s mission, products, and advertising opportunities.
  • Work with internal teams to provide excellent relationship management through regular updates of current campaigns, delivery reports and recommendations for renewals
  • Negotiate the terms, conditions, and pricing of advertising campaigns with clients

Requirements

  • 3 years minimum in an advertising sales role
  • Think creatively, sell strategically, multitask and communicate efficiently both internally and externally
  • Experience in advertising & media sales with the ability to develop, present and sell through high level media strategy and marketing plans to C-Level clients & advertising agency teams
  • Existing track record and network of advertising agency and clients is required
  • Ability to manage sales pipeline and project sales on a quarterly and annual basis
  • Digital & mobile sales experience is required. Programmatic sales experience is preferred
  • Experience with Salesforce.com is preferred
