We value and prioritize design in everything we create, from our top ranked mobile apps to our marketing communications, and we’re looking for a Designer to help us on our mission! Key responsibilities include:
- Creating visual assets for Ovia Health’s digital and print channels; web, social media, apps, banners, emails, posters, app store, presentations, etc.
- Initiating collaboration with marketers and copywriters to create consistent and captivating brand messages, sales materials, in- and out-of-app and social content
- Working with the content and design team in developing and maintaining the look and feel of the Ovia brand; as well as establishing style guides and internal documentation
- Working with team of designers to set high expectations and evolve our design best practices
- Collaborating cross-functionally to ensure a consistent brand experience and smooth development
- Identifying new opportunities to elevate the Ovia brand
Requirements
- 3-5 years of work experience in a fast-paced or startup environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication, project management, and people skills
- Expertise in the Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
- Positive attitude and willingness to take on multiple projects at once
- Great illustration and visual design skills, and thorough understanding of formal design: composition, color theory, and typography
- Ability to absorb and apply constructive criticism from peers, clients, and users
- Great instincts and empathy towards all people
- Passion for women’s and family health!
- Experience in photography and/or video a plus
- Experience in mobile app marketing and/or illustration a plus
