We’re looking for an organized, creative, and hands-on Content Editor to oversee in-app content development on our Marketing team! The ideal candidate has a background in content development and is also excited about building and managing a network of freelance writers. As a copywriter and content editor you will be ideating and writing across mediums: from partner collateral to sales decks and ad copy.
What you’ll be doing:
- Work with the brand team to advance the Ovia voice within our apps, email and content partners. Implement standardized content guidelines, including approving or editing advertiser and/or third party creative. Own digital in-app content strategy.
- Write and oversee in-app content, including ad creation, in-app articles and enterprise content as needed (about 60% writing, 40% management)
- Recruit contract writers, including setting freelance rates, in order to build up a freelancer network that is more flexible to fluctuate up and down based on the level of work available
- Actively manage writer network including contracts, scheduling, writing creative briefs, ensuring quality of work and brand alignment, and other day-to-day management tasks
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience creating digital content for consumers, preferably in the mobile or health & wellness space
- Experience creating and executing content-related strategy and guidelines
- Experience working with and directing freelance talent
- Excellent attention to detail
- Experience working with, and presenting to, advertising clients
