1337 Ventures has announced the launch of Alpha Startups Inno4Her, Southeast Asia’s first femtech-focused accelerator program. The eight-week program aims to help startups validate ideas, achieve product-market fit, and scale their businesses in the women’s health sector.

“Femtech is still nascent in Southeast Asia, but we see its immense potential to transform women’s healthcare,” said Bikesh Lakhmichand, CEO and founding partner of 1337 Ventures. “With Alpha Startups Inno4Her, we’re not just investing in startups; we’re investing in the future of women’s wellbeing in the region. We’re excited to support these innovators as they drive change and create lasting impact.”

The program is open to founders of all genders at any stage, from idea to growth, focusing on six key areas:

  • Personalized Healthcare (AI, Data Analytics, Telehealth)
  • Menopause & Aging Health
  • Menstrual Health
  • Advanced Maternal Care
  • Fertility & Reproductive Health
  • Wearables for Women’s Health

Participating startups will receive mentoring from industry experts including Doc On Call, BabyDash, Concept Fertility Centre, and Christina Teo, founder of She1K. The program concludes with a demo day where startups pitch to investors and industry leaders.

In conjunction with the accelerator, 1337 Ventures is hosting a webinar series featuring femtech founders, including sessions on women’s health across life stages with Sherry Sheriff (January 14), motherhood insights with Lavinie Thiruchelvam (January 17), and aging gracefully with Oretha Herrera (January 23).

Applications are open until February 6, 2025, with the cohort starting February 21, 2025. The program is supported by community partners WORQ and Disruptive Doctors.
