Tia is the next-gen women’s health platform fusing empathy & innovation to help women thrive.
Tia is the next generation women’s healthcare platform bringing empathy and innovation together to help women thrive. Our interdisciplinary team of doctors, designers & data enthusiasts have seen first-hand how women’s needs have been radically underserved and underestimated, and are on a mission to build a new distinctly female care model from the ground up, online and offline.
Tia’s ecosystem of products, tools and services — from the Tia app to the Tia Clinic, a real-world gynecology, primary care, & wellness practice based in NYC — is connected by a unique, human-centered approach to care that focuses on listening and learning all about women and their holistic needs, from anatomy to emotions, from gut health to getting it on. Tia encourages honest and transparent conversations about patients’ health, both with their care team and their community of members, to help women make independent and informed healthcare decisions with confidence and ease.
ROLE SUMMARY:
This is the dream role for someone seeking a front row seat at a high-growth start-up and female leadership team. In this role you’ll primarily support the CEO and act as the NY HQ Office Manager, but also assist and support other NY leadership from time-to-time. You’ll report to the CEO and work closely with her Chief of Staff. You’ll be the go to person for details around the CEO’s day to day activities and also act as the NY HQ office manager. You’re a natural multi-tasker, deadline driven, organized and excited to support the leaders of Tia! You’re passionate about healthcare as an industry and about tech as a way to disrupt it, but, you are also keenly aware of the “respect for medicine” mentality (and observe it).
This role is in New York City and reports to the Chief Executive Officer.
Tia Company Values You “Spike” On:
-
- Make the implicit explicit

Your Abilities:
-
- Navigating ambiguity — you can make logical decisions with 60% of the information; knowing what questions to ask to get the job done, and when you can just make a call!
- Detail Oriented – whether its formatting a document, writing an email, or planning an office event, no detail is too small!
- Self-started – you uncover issues and call out problems wherever you see them across the CEO’s schedule and then flag appropriately – often before the CEO even sees them herself!
- Collaboration – you know how to divide and conquer and also work collaboratively between different executives and working styles (ex: between the CEO, Tia’s chief of staff, the corporate team, and the clinic staff).
- Superb Communication – you are a killer communicator — up, down and sideways! Your EQ is off the charts, and you communicate gracefully always, especially when communicating on behalf of executives you support. You never assume people can read your mind or in “between the lines.” You make your assumptions explicit and that they are the basis of your logic. You always take the time to document and “close the loop” especially when working cross functionally.
