Description
We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our team. The Business Intelligence (BI) team is responsible for the analytics supporting every function in the organization. In this role, you will support both external reporting needs as well as internal analytics in order to support the company’s strategic development and growth. You will have wide exposure to all departments and levels across the company.
What you’ll do…
- Build automated reports to support internal and external data requests
- Build interactive dashboards in Cognos or PowerBI to increase both operational effectiveness and senior management decisions across functions supported by BI: patient care services, provider relations, claims management, network contracting, pharmacy, sales, account management, legal and marketing.
- You will need to understand the business’ goals, know how to find the data measuring the effort put into meeting those goals, and analyze the information to find trends
- Evaluate effectiveness of existing KPIs and develop new KPIs to measure organizational performance toward achieving quality and satisfaction targets
- Lead presentation of that data to key partners in a way that is easy to understand and actionable
About you…
- 0-2 years of relevant experience
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Proficiency in Excel, SQL or Python strongly preferred
- Ability to analyze large sets of data (50M+ rows of data)
- You should be organized and methodical, with strong attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- You will be analytical and possess excellent data manipulation skills
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal direction on multiple endeavors at once
